Who we are

You’re living near in Paris or nearby and you’re looking for fun, friendship and adventure in English for your child?
If your child is between 5 and 11 years old and you ́d love for them to make English- speaking friends, build confidence, and enjoy the great outdoors, then consider joining our international pack of Cub Scouts.
Cub Scouts is a fun and educational program for children (boys and girls), ages 5 to 11. It is part of Scouting America, which is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States, established in 1910. Our Pack 112 is an international, English-speaking Cub Scout pack located in Paris, France. We are part of the Transatlantic Council, which brings together all packs that exist outside of the United States.
Paris Pack 112 welcomes boys and girls from multinational families, representing a wide range of nationalities, ethnicities, and religious backgrounds. It is a prerequisite that all new joining scouts are able to communicate and understand English as this is the common language of our pack. Bringing together expat Americans, multinational families and locals, our common goal is that we all communicate with each other in English.
Cub scouting is a program entirely run by parents who volunteer. It’s not a drop-off activity : a parent or guardian must stay to supervise their child and help completing our adventures.
Cub scouts usually meet once or twice a month, either with the whole pack (around 40 kids, from 5 to 11) or with their den (around 8 kids, same age). Nothing is mandatory, you can choose when you want to come. On average, families participate in one den meeting or pack meeting per month.
All Cub Scouts from pack 112 are part of a “den”, which consists of children in the same grade. There are usually from 3 to 10 children in a den. For 2026-27:
Lions age 4-6 (GS, KG 2021)
Tigers age 5-7 (CP, grade 1, 2020)
Wolves age 6-8 (CE 1, grade 2, 2019)
Bears age 7-9 (CE 2, grade 3, 2018)
Webelos age 8-10 (CM 1, grade 4, 2017)
Arrow of light age9-11 (CM 2, grade 5, 2016)
Usually, dens meet at someone’s house, a centrally located park or in museums, depending on their adventure. The Pack meetings (for all scouts) take place across Paris or nearby, with a slight focus on the western part of the city.
Pack 112 offers a wide variety of activities, including:
Fall & Spring Family Campouts
Pinewood Derby (build and race wooden cars) & Fundraiser Lunch
Lego Building Event
Blue & Gold Scout Anniversary Celebration
Outdoor Day Trips & Nature Adventures
Community Service Projects
…and much more!
